Calisse was born and raised in the Santa Ynez Valley and is proud her children are third-generation Valley-ites.  After receiving her degree at the University of California at Santa Cruz, Calisse attended the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law where she earned her Juris Doctor in 2005.  Later that year, Calisse earned her standing as a member of the California Bar Association.

Fifteen years ago, Calisse began her career working in insurance and medical malpractice defense litigation.  After relocating to the Valley, turned her focus towards pre-litigation estate and business planning.

Calisse and her husband, Ben, returned to the Valley in 2007.  Their two children proudly attend the Santa Ynez Valley Charter School where the whole family volunteers their time and effort.

In her free-time, Calisse enjoys supporting her children in horseback riding, soccer, softball and baseball.  Every chance she gets, you'll find her enjoying her 1981 Honda Passport.  And when Autumn rolls around, you can find her setting up her haunted house in the front yard, building escape rooms for charity, and otherwise engaging in all things Halloween and pumpkin.
